The Digital ID Design Challenge (DIDC) is a competition that asks teams of students and professionals to address critical issues with digital identity inspired solutions.
Hosted by the Digital ID & Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC) in collaboration with the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA), IdentityNORTH and the University of British Columbia’s Blockchain and Distributed Research and Education Cluster (Blockchain@UBC).
Challenge: Remove digital ID friction from real estate transactions while exploring viability of blockchain technologies
How the challenge works
| 1. Form a Design Team
Form a team consisting of students and/or professionals. Register a team by October 23. TEAM REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
| 2. Develop a Solution
Describe a solution using the industry standards, resources, and tools provided. Submit a solution by Oct 31.
| 3. Submit by the Deadline
Submit solutions by October 31. Winner will be selected at the IdentityNORTH Western Forum November 7-8. The winning solution will earn $2500 sponsored by DIACC and IdentityNORTH.
