  • Answer: Citizens create a MyYukon account online using an email address; verification is completed via a link sent to email (expires in 15 minutes). Optional MFA can be enabled via SMS, phone call, or authenticator app.

Q: What percentage of the provincial population is currently enrolled in the scheme?

  • Answer: 50% or more

Q: How many government services can the citizen credential access?

  • Answer: 0–10 (9 currently listed, including vehicle registration renewal, Good Energy rebates, student financial assistance, and campground reservations)

Q: Can the citizen credential be used to access non-government services?

  • Answer: No
